Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TodaysCoimbatore.com (the "Website"), operated by Today's Coimbatore (TodaysCoimbatore.com), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them with our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, or by submitting any form on it, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Website you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or submit any form on it.
2. What the Website offers
Today's Coimbatore is a local information website for Coimbatore. It offers news and civic updates (including power-shutdown notices), a business directory, event listings, a volunteer blood-donor network, and advertising space.
We may add, change or withdraw any feature at any time without notice.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and be able to enter into a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
When you submit a form you must give true and current information and must be entitled to give it (for example, you must be the owner of, or authorised to list, a business you register).
4. Free Business Listing and advertisements
The Free Listing form lets a business request a listing in the Business Directory. By submitting it you confirm that you are the owner of the business or are authorised to act for it, and that every detail you give is accurate and lawful.
- A listing request is reviewed by us. We may approve, edit, shorten, categorise, refuse, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, with or without notice, including if the information is wrong, misleading or unlawful.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee that a listing will be published, or its position, ranking or how long it stays.
- You allow us to display the business name, owner name, category, area, address, map location, photos and the contact details you provide on the Website, in search results and in our listings for as long as the listing is live.
- The listing service is currently free. We may introduce paid or featured options in future; no charge will apply to an existing listing without your agreement.
- You are responsible for keeping your details up to date. Ask us to correct or remove your listing at any time by writing to us (see section 17 of the full Terms, or the Contact Us page).
5. Directory enquiries and contact numbers
Business phone numbers in the directory are masked to reduce spam. To see a number you submit the enquiry form with your own name and mobile number (an email and a note are optional). The details you submit are stored by us and are made available to the business you enquired about so that it can respond.
You may use a number you unlock only to contact that business about its goods or services. You must not use it, or any directory information, for spam, bulk or unsolicited messages, scraping, resale, or to harass anyone. We may block a visitor who misuses the directory.
6. Blood-donor network
The blood-donor section lets volunteers register and lets people in need of blood request contact with a volunteer. Donors take part voluntarily and are not paid.
- We are not a blood bank, hospital or medical service and we give no medical advice. We do not test, screen or guarantee any donor, blood group or availability.
- Always confirm the donor’s details, health and the blood group with the treating doctor or a licensed blood bank before relying on a donation.
- In an emergency call the national emergency number 112 or ambulance 108, or go directly to a hospital.
- Donors agree that their name, blood group, area and phone number may be shown to, or used to contact them for, people who request blood, after our review. A donor can ask us to remove their details at any time.
7. What you submit
Anything you submit (enquiries, reviews, listing details, photos, event details, news tips) is your responsibility. You keep your ownership of it, and you give us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence to host, display, edit for format, and publish it on the Website and in connected channels for as long as it is live, so we can operate the Website.
You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.
8. What you must not do
In line with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not submit, upload or share anything that:
